While on the subject of bands, a big shout must go out to "U-No-Hoo" who I had the pleasure of DJing with on Saturday night. The group, which has been playing as a six piece since the 1970's, played all the big covers spanning the decades from Robbie Williams and S Club 7 through to Tina Turner and the Beatles. Everybody there was thoroughly entertained as they joined in with the singing and dancing. It certainly makes my job easier if you play with a great professional band. U-No-Hoo are ideal for weddings and parties and I definitely recommend them. So if you want something other than a disco, speak to Barry Scott (see contacts page) because U-No-Hoo are the ultimate function band.

I am sorry it has taken so long for me to get around to writing this letter. I wanted to thank you and the rest of the band for a great performance at the "Beth Garvey Memorial Ball", on July 20th. Everybody commented on how professional and good you were. In fact you really helped make the evening a night to remember by all. We are pleased to inform you that we raised £10,000 in aid of Yorkshire Cancer Research; a tremendous amount for all concerned. We were delighted that the event was such a success. I hope you all enjoyed it too and that you got home safely, not too late. May I also take this opportunity, to enquire if you would be free next year on October 4th to play at my wedding. I will be getting married just outside York in a village called Escrick. Let me know if this is a date that you can make and what costs we are talking about.
