Sorry for the delay in writing to you but as you will understand with working as well things do take a little longer than one would hope. We are so pleased with the way you all came, set up, played, and left with no problems, a truly professional band. Newspaper article June 27th 2002 While on the subject of bands, a big shout must go out to "U-No-Hoo" who I had the pleasure of DJing with on Saturday night. The group, which has been playing as a six piece since the 1970's, played all the big covers spanning the decades from Robbie Williams and S Club 7 through to Tina Turner and the Beatles. Everybody there was thoroughly entertained as they joined in with the singing and dancing. It certainly makes my job easier if you play with a great professional band. U-No-Hoo are ideal for weddings and parties and I definitely recommend them. So if you want something other than a disco, speak to Barry Scott (see contacts page) because U-No-Hoo are the ultimate function band.

Graham Kingaby A brief note of thanks for your magnificent performance at the AVA Midland Region Summer Ball at the ICC on Saturday 12th May. We have been holding this event for some years, but this was by far the most successful not least of which was due to the excellent performance of your band. Your standards are of the highest quality and the entertainment value was definitely 10 out of 10. The whole of evening seemed to go very well and the flood of people onto the dance floor from the beginning of the music to the very end of the night's dancing I hope reflected for all of you how much you were appreciated. I have been into the office today and there were various messages about how much the members and associated people enjoyed the evening as well as all the comments made to me at the ball. I also received comments from some of the Corn Exchange staff and so hope that you may be able to take advantage of this!
David and Amanila Ambrose Dear U-No-Hoo What can we say other than a massive thank you for the brilliant performance at our wedding on June 10th at The Coplow Centre. We and pretty much everyone else danced our socks off that night, it was a perfect ending to a perfect day. All the very best for the future, David and Amanila.
Sarah and Jonathan 4th September 2000 Dear U-No-Hoo Jonathan and I would like to thank you all for playing at our wedding reception on the 8th July. Sorry it has taken us so long to write but since returning from our honeymoon we have been busy moving into our new home. Since we have returned however our friends and family have not stopped talking about your band. They thought the music was absolutely brilliant. Everyone really enjoyed themselves, they were disappointed when their taxi's started to arrive.
Pat and Mike 25th February 2001 Thanks a lot U-No-Hoo because your band was just what we wanted for our wedding evening. The evening went with a swing and kept going right until midnight, which was exactly what we wanted, so a big thank you from both of us for your entertainment. Samantha Ridley I am sorry it has taken so long for me to get around to writing this letter. I wanted to thank you and the rest of the band for a great performance at the "Beth Garvey Memorial Ball", on July 20th. Everybody commented on how professional and good you were. In fact you really helped make the evening a night to remember by all. We are pleased to inform you that we raised £10,000 in aid of Yorkshire Cancer Research; a tremendous amount for all concerned. We were delighted that the event was such a success. I hope you all enjoyed it too and that you got home safely, not too late. May I also take this opportunity, to enquire if you would be free next year on October 4th to play at my wedding. I will be getting married just outside York in a village called Escrick. Let me know if this is a date that you can make and what costs we are talking about. I guess it would be and evening performance, not finishing too late.
