| History
Formed originally as a trio back in 1967 by the current band leader, Barry Scott playing it’s first gig on the 27th March of that year at a social club in Grantham, Lincolnshire, the band progressed through the seventies as a 6-piece with two female vocalists during the popularity of Swedish super-group 'Abba'. In 1978, the band had the pleasure of representing the East Midlands in the televised finals of ‘Pub Entertainer of the Year’ in London which led to guest appearances on the Supremes tour later that year followed by appearances with some of the country’s top Artistes at venues all over the UK. After a significant change of personnel in 1982, the band retained it’s popularity throughout the eighties and nineties and remains today one of the area’s top function bands with an endless list of satisfied clients, some with repeat bookings over a period of 12 years. |
